Grand Master Aldric
So have a space wolf fail cast captain and because i don't play space wolfs i need to remove the chapter badge and there are several problems. 1: I'm no good at round filing. 2: It is a really small so one might mess up the chain sword trying to file it. And 3: when you go at the badge you properly hit the rest of the pad. So as you can see I'm in a bit of a pickle. http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t620/SAKAGE1/m1240774_99060101251_SWcaptainwo-1_zps3b4e3dbf.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289421-removing-the-chapter-badge-on-fine-cast-wolf-captain/ Share on other sites
Brother-Chaplain Kage
Very carefully cut the hand off on either side of the wrist so you're able to deal with the pad without damaging the chainsword. I would scrape most of it with a hobby knife first, then sand it smooth, and it's much easier to do with finecast than metal. Then glue the hand back on. Also, I never noticed how much that looks like an Eldar chainsword until now. Yeah.. yeah I suppose that could work thanks. as for the eldar thing you know being a space wolf it just might be a eldar chain sword. And hey! that's a good idea you know captain garled could have an eldar chain sword fitting in with the blood hound xenos pact, which helps since i was baffled what to do since both my sergeants have better weapons. Forté
With Finecast you can just breath on it so a little while and parts fall off so if you use a straw you should be able to remove it in no time.
