Devastators and amount of heavy weapons taken

Hi guys

 

I'm reading the codex and see that in the army list section under devastators

 

"up to four space marines may each take one weapon from the heavy weapon list"

 

Does this mean that you don't have to take four heavy weapons. I might just be stupid but for some reason thought that you have to take four weapons

You can take up to 4 heavy weapons.

 

So you could have 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4.

 

Although taking 0-1 would be pretty pointless (you'd be better off with a Tactical Squad).
