Nova_chron Posted April 14, 2014 Share Posted April 14, 2014 So I have a player at my FLGS who is in love with the death korps siege army... Lots of grunts a couple tanks and field artillery. My question is how would you fight this. His lists usually look something like HQ commissar general with power fist Company command squad (assorted goodies) Two or three infantry platoons with melta bombs in every squad and a melta gun. ( about 3-4 squads to a platoon) 2 bane wolves or other variant of the hell hound Leman Russ vanquisher Leman Russ executioner Field artillery battery 2 guns 16 crew total usually earth shaker cannons Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Leonaides Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 Whirlwinds, deep strike assault squads with twin flamers or meltas, drop pods with dreadnoughts with mm, mephiston, make sure you are doing the order right. The old ones couldnt be issued to vehicles and only applied to the shooting from the squad it was ordered on. Not to one of your squads iirc. This of course is now outdated by the new codex...
