Hopper21
Hey everyone, its been two weeks since my first post on here. All settled here now in theatre it's freakin hot! I've had to improvise with painting sat on the floor leaning on my gorilla box. Standing up with dead legs is amusing to my room mates, put bloody painful! I'm painting underneath the AC unit to so the paint is drying so fast, I'm going through paint so quick as I have to put loads out water down so I have time to paint. Anyway this is what I've managed so far between shifts grateful for any feedback. I'll be cracking on with the of the next few shift dependant. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i27/fulleros/imagejpg1_zps44b11c03.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289630-dark-angels-in-afghan-part-2/ Share on other sites
Brother dean
Looks good in spite of picture quality... Do you have to paint right in the AC blast or is there a work area out of the breeze? (or can you stand to not sit in the AC blast?) Getting out of the breeze will slow down the paint drying process, otherwise maybe you need a drying retardant to add to your paint. McFisty
Those models look amazing, especially considering the circumstances you have to work in. Keep up the great work! Hopper21
Sorry for poor quality my internet is so slow! It's either the ac unit or a bunk bed so I've gone with the latter! I've brought some paint retardant out with me but I don't like how it drys on the model. Here's one closer up http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i27/fulleros/imagejpg1_zps4f79e79e.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289630-dark-angels-in-afghan-part-2/#findComment-3653981 Share on other sites

Interrogator Stobz
Great models, a wet palette is a cheap and easy way to keep your paints in good nick longer. Go raid the scullery/mess hall/kitchen/whatever for a plastic tray with a lid, a sponge and some baking paper  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289630-dark-angels-in-afghan-part-2/#findComment-3654567 Share on other sites
