Need help with colours scheme.

Hi brothers,

My Unforgiven order just arrived today and Im still a bit stuck between Guardians of the Covenant or a DIY chapter (I will most likely be painting one of each to see what I like best). I need help with a few ideas for colour schemes for the DIY, tell me what you think:

Im not entirely sure about their badge yet, but Im thinking maybe a lions head or a raven talon. The lions head is inspiration from the Lannisters from Game of Thrones.

So brothers, lend me your wisdom.

Personal favorite is number 3 I think, the bone robes fits with the DA inner circle idea and the green shoulderpads are a nice reference to the DA. Only thing is that its perhaps very close to how a DA Chaplain looks.

Nr. 1 feels too Black Templar-ish to me, and the full red armors too blood angel. Nr 2 is a nice option as well, although I'd prefer a hint of green somewhere as reference to the DA perhaps.

Thanks for the input so far brothers. I have taken your advice and removed the 2 red ones. While I must admit that I like painting red you were right, they look a lot like robed blood angels and red is not really a colour that fits with the dark feel of the Unforgiven like blacks, bone and green do.

So far Im inclined for number 3 because of what brother Cyfax said, the green adds a nice touch of "dark angels descendant". Number 2 also calls to me.

Please let me hear more of your advice or opinions. I would also like to hear ideas for chapter badges, as I said so far I have in mind a golden/yellow lions head or a white/black ravens talon.

I like the second one. It seems to harken back to the original legion colors. By using the DA sword, that could also tie them into the Unforgiven. If not as a Chapter badge then as the squad badge. A horizontal sword for Tactical, crossed swords (like the GotC) for assault and a vertical point up sword for Devastator.

I also like the third even with its lighter green (though it reminds me of Death Guard for a reason I do not know).
