Jochteas
1) they look super cool! 2) there is actually a really cool comic called Wolf and Sister -> http://space-wolves-grey.blogspot.com/2011/02/wolf-sister.html that is pretty awesome and broaches the subject of epic warrior women fighting with the Rout. ContemptuousAngel
Aren't Sisters of Battle the female variant of Astartes biology? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289740-wolf-sisters/page/2/#findComment-3837750 Share on other sites
Growler67
Aren't Sisters of Battle the female variant of Astartes biology? No they are not. Though they go through a sequence of rituals and conditioning, they lack the surgical and organ augmentation the Astartes endure. They are for the most part human and not super-human, though they make up for it through their zealous indoctrination and faith as well as (certainly) suplimentation and physical training. FenrisWolf
Glad you did it for your daughter. I'll hopefully be doing similar within the next 9 years (by the time my daughter turns 12). ContemptuousAngel
I might have confused them with the Silent Sisterhood, who are definitely described as Astartes esque in the Horus Heresy novels.
