Howdy.

When the Apoc book dropped, I really wanted a Thunderhawk, but their kinda expensive. So I thought I would build one out of other kits.

But when the project started getting some issues, I kinda lost motivation. So, I'm posting my WIP to kinda motivate myself to finish.

I started with a paper model, to get a sense of size and dimesion

As a basis for my Thunderhawk, I'm using 2 Valkaries, a StormRaven and a Basilisk

The front of the Thunderhawk. I used the front of the StormRaven, cut and resized it to fit my template. Wax paper was really useful here since I was needing to glue things laying flat

Things take shape a bit more

For the front wings, I used the wings from the Valkarie kit, which are roughly the same size as my template

Things start to take shape. Lots of holes need to be filled and glue marks are becoming a real problem

Update: Added tail fin and basilisk cannon. I'm trying to figure out how to cover the back of the cannon while retaining some of the up and down movement
