bushman101
Howdy. When the Apoc book dropped, I really wanted a Thunderhawk, but their kinda expensive. So I thought I would build one out of other kits. But when the project started getting some issues, I kinda lost motivation. So, I'm posting my WIP to kinda motivate myself to finish. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y119/bushman010/40k/IMG_20130823_010006_zpsd8565453.jpg I started with a paper model, to get a sense of size and dimesion http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y119/bushman010/40k/IMG_20130823_010018_zps6e6eca21.jpg As a basis for my Thunderhawk, I'm using 2 Valkaries, a StormRaven and a Basilisk

I used the front of the StormRaven, cut and resized it to fit my template. Wax paper was really useful here since I was needing to glue things laying flat http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y119/bushman010/40k/IMG_20130825_225109_zps6808dcb6.jpg Things take shape a bit more

I'm trying to figure out how to cover the back of the cannon while retaining some of the up and down movement
GrunTeufel
Get some plasticard man. You can complete some flat surfaces really easily and make it so that it doesn't look out of place by using some bitz. Great job so far.
