Roma
Simply: I am a decent painter that wants to know everything there is to know about painting models, that can be learned quickly. So while I am not asking for davinci's published works on colour theory, a link to a site that has a well-ordered list of articles on: Basic colour theory Model prepping Priming Tools Baseccoat Highlight Advanced techniques Etc Would be much appreciated. A nice one I saw was: http://www.how-to-paint-miniatures.com/ and one called doctor's clinic. Anything better/different? Thanks! Darth Mustard
Have a look on Jeremy "Bragon" Teboul Bonamant http://www.jeremiebt.com/index.php?page=sitefr He is a great guy (spent a weekend with him in the old days) and a pioneer of sharing and spreading the knowledge of painting. He studied and talked with all types of painters from classical to oil, historical.... the other reference for me is Cyril Abati http://neomodel.free.fr/index02.html Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289849-most-comprehensive-store-of-miniature-painting-knowledge/#findComment-3658683 Share on other sites

SW1
Try taleofpainters.blogspot.co.uk Garfy from the site has been featured in the WD a few times including his huge Ultramarines force back when it was a monthly mag and this week his hobbit stuff was used in the WD weekly. They do step by step guides that don't miss lots of layers out unlike the GWS paint splatter articles and the finished models are better than the old heavy metal teams for quality!
