TheAurelian
so Lorgar has been sitting pouting at what he has done for an ton of time and he's really sorry he's pretty much been used and abused like a pretty little street and he feels bad. Instead of pouting he realizes he can still do some kind of good....enter prodigal son storyline. I'm not one with much knowledge of what happened after the heresy so beware of wild conjecture. OR with Lorgar being supremely warp knowledgeable and what not as well as being the one ho looks most like the emperor and all that he lets the dead emperor star child mage wizard psychic being into his body or lets it take possession of him and in some fanatical way brings the emperor back to kick old fashion baddie . this is craziness but tell me what you think when horus died in his last moments he was truely himself and as the ruinious powers released there grip on him he saw the evil he had done i am trying to say that lorgar hasnt been seen for 10000 years is that something similar happened to him. the warp gods cst him aside after using him to start the heresy then tossed him aside. yes he is a daemon primarch and all that but i was reading some comment streams and such suggesting he realized the evil he had become and how mich stuff he ruined. as lorgar is known to go to extremes perhaps he realized how wrong he was and "feels bad" knowing how lorgar is i dont think its out of the question to assume that once/if he realized the damage hed done he would try to fix it. with the emperor dead/dying it seems to me that he could try to help. if the emperor is dead and his prophesied return is to happen(most of this is more lore rather than specifically stated if you have not read the star child stuff this will not make sense look it up in lexicanum. ALL IM TRYING TO SAY IS THAT IT WOULD BE NEAT TO SEE THE ONE WHO BROUGHT ABOUT THE HERESY FIX WHAT HE MESSED UP IN SUCH A WAY THAT LORGAR LETS THE EMEPEROR POSSES HIM BECAUSE HE TO IS A WARP ENTITY ONCE HE DIED. other belief states that when the emperor dies his psychic might and power will be equivalent to the warp gods because off all his followersand worshipers and this will cause a cancelling effect. Hence the title anathema. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289856-crazy-talk/ Share on other sites

Kol Saresk
Well, let me say this. Until the 5th Edition Grey Knights Codex and the 6th Edition Chaos Space Marines Codex, Angron was the only daemon primarch to be seen in the last ten thousand years. So is Fulgrim sharing in this sulking? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289856-crazy-talk/#findComment-3658537 Share on other sites
Phoros
According to the Black Legion codex, Lorgar taught Abaddon the art of daemon-binding. I don't think he's particularly regretful. depthcharge12
According to the Black Legion codex, Lorgar taught Abaddon the art of daemon-binding. I don't think he's particularly regretful. Considering that "loyal" servants of the emperor possess a space marine chapter with daemons and have them exorcise them through strength of will, leaving them with higher resistance to corruption - I think this could go either way.. Adra'Melek
Originally Horus was possessed on Davin and un possessed just before the Emperor killed him. Of course Horus wasn't possessed in the current story. But the Emperor hasn't killed him yet. Lorgar wasn't possessed or tricked (other than normal daemon trickery). He made his choice and was made a daemon himself. If Lorgar is feeling sorry for himself he should get exactly what he got. An eternity to wallow in the guilt. JeffJedi
The Daemon Primarchs showed up in the early editions of Space Marine/Epic which included modern day characters like Ragnar Blackmane, therefor they have been seen as recently as the 1st war for Armageddon.
