I have always wanted to paint a pre heresy army but never had the cash to do it so this was a super fun commission, them new FW kits are a joy to paint. Here are the picsThanks for looking and any comments, criticisms or questions are welcomeHappy EasterGeorge

LutherMax
Love it all but the tanks in particular - how did you achieve the blue-black?
George Golem
Hi guys, thanks for the comments I cant really claim credit for the blue black, just a happy coincidence. Thehighlights on the tanks are done with an airbrush using black vallejo surfaceprimer mixed with grey. The surface primer is a very bluey black and thisreally shows through. by doing a couple of highlights in this way the blueseems to become more intense. personally im not a fan or airbrush primers foractual undercoats but they do run through an airbrush really well and whenhighlighting black or working from grey to white I cant recommend them highlyenough cheers George edit... deleted half my post whilst spellchecking coincidence... sigh
KJB
They are awesome, love the Contemptor in particular My only gripe is with one of the bikers - it may be the picture but his power sword looks a touch bendy...
Isiah
It's all just glorious. Beautiful colour palette, especially the reds and coppers. Cheers I
