Heresy Era Imperial Fists - metallic colour scheme

While I'm here, does anyone ( in general or with extermination) know if the red helmet with white stripe is still a thing for heresy era fists sergeants? I've got a cataphractii squad on my desk ready for yellow glazes but I don't want to do the helmet of the sergeant if I need to get that metallic red

By late GC/HH all the Legions have their own markings and armor personalization in place. For example, the Fists also use a stylized chevron and diamond pattern to denote squad leaders. Iron Warriors seem to have as well, though in different applications on the suit.

Ultras are an entirely different world when we're talking insignia. These are Legions, not Chapters following guidelines.

That's actually based on the markings from Rogue Trader. I'm considering using RT markings on all my squads now, with the exception of the mushroom cloud which looks far less imposing than the new destroyers symbol.

The Legionnes Astartes are the strong right arm of The Emperor's Crusade. And we are his Fist!

Still awaiting basing, but the first squad of terminators are almost ready to join the good fight. Not a particularly good weapon load out but I've let the rule of cool dictate what stuff went where!

These marines are beyond lush. There needs to be a new word. Your terminators are incredible.

Having literally today deciding that I am going to start an IF 30k force, this is going to be alot of inspiration. Especially to stand out from the regular Matte Yellow armour armies on the table.

May i ask though. possible when you do your next marine to post up some WIP shots?

Also, did you do all the yellow first, then the black and silver trim, or vice versa?

Thanks in advance, and keep up the good work.

Fantastic. Wow. Thank you for sharing.

I will definitely try this out for a few marines - I love trying awesome paint schemes.

Any chance I can trouble you for the other colors used? Is the rest of the metal just the "base coat" metals without the washes? What about the rest?

Wow again. These are stunning.
