Chapter Master Furious
Hey all its been awhile since i've been updating my regiment, but i have completed by Company Command Squad. The picture is one i took from my first game with my IG Force (which i won haha), and my CCS was just chilling like total badasses in this ruin giving orders and killing Knights (seriously killed a Knight with 2 auto cannons teams). When i have more time ill make sure to take more pics of my CCS. look forward to more updates (hopefully) in the near future CM Furious WarriorFish, Father Mehman, our_baz and 2 others 5 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289978-astra-militarum-gregorian-101st/page/4/#findComment-4043339 Share on other sites

Father Mehman
Good job on the Super Heavy kill! I'm sad that it was a Knight but happy that you killed the heretic scum that was piloting it ! Vel'Cona
Awesome job on the army as a whole, thus far! I think the dark grey really works for Cadian Urban camo, and your limited use of red on the "line infantry" really makes it stand out on your armor and elite units. I use a similar trick with the crimson and steel-grey on my Cadians, but I don't think it's quite as crisp as your models! Got any super-heavy tanks or walkers in the wings? walter h 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289978-astra-militarum-gregorian-101st/page/4/#findComment-4044279 Share on other sites
Chapter Master Furious
Back from the Grave! As you can see it's been awhile since i've last posted anything new, but i will not disappoint with this... Leman Russ Punisher Ever since this model first came out, i've loved that Gatling Gun just strapped to a Leman Russ, just imagining it spraying bullets into soft, fleshy targets. I was considering making it my Command Tank, but i might save that for a different type of Leman Russ (executioner, or vanquisher). Let me know how the tanked turned out, and any other comments bellow. WarriorFish
Welcome back :D The grey is nice, as is the red of the lenses - have you given them a gloss varnish? I can't quite tell from the pictures, helps them stand out a little :) It's a well executed scheme, the only improvement would be some weathering even if only a little. Thanks man! and well hopefully going to grab a Baneblade for my 21st b-day, that way it will nicely round off my IG force. The grey is nice, as is the red of the lenses - have you given them a gloss varnish? Yup, did some blending and went over it with Gloss varnish to give it more of a glass look. Chapter Master Furious
What a beast.... well I finally got one, the Gregorian 101st have themselves a baneblade to smite the foes of the Emperor! the build at first was quite difficult, as i made some mistakes on the placement of the track wheel assembly but i manged to pull it off effectively. but the rest of the build was pretty straight forward. Would I get another? hell yes! but for now ill have to complete the Imperious Dominious first. look forward to more progress! WarriorFish
Must go through a lot of wash, but it's worth it as you've got the process down :tu: You've done the main bit, just the slog of metallics next but then suddenly you realise it's all but done :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289978-astra-militarum-gregorian-101st/page/4/#findComment-4215159 Share on other sites
Chapter Master Furious
It is done, Let lose the machine spirit of this mighty iron beats! It was an awesome project to do, and honestly i want another one (or maybe two lol). But the painting when better then I ever expected! and its turly a nice center piece for my Army. but As well Ive been working on a Special weapon squad, and also my first Veteran Squad. But sense I'll be preoccupied with school, I wont be able to post a whole lot, but none the less look forward to more progress. CM Furious. WarriorFish
Great stuff, can't beat a Baneblade as a worthy project to get stuck into! I like the colours on the rear of the tank, nice shiny red on the lenses too :tu: Veterans are a lot of fun for mixing up bits and such as you can see, I go raiding every bits box I have for interesting bits :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289978-astra-militarum-gregorian-101st/page/4/#findComment-4229213 Share on other sites
Chapter Master Furious
Hey all after somewhat of a busy hoildays, i have manged to finish up my first squad of Veterans! and quite honestly i couldn't be happier with the outcome. The only thing i do regret is maybe including more head options then just the standard helmeted ones, but the right ammo straps on the shoulder guards do hopefully provide the sense of seasoned veteran. still have some speical weapon squads to work one, will post those when there done. Chapter Master Furious
Greeting Fellow Combatants Back after what as seem like an age with a small but big (in a punny way) update! just finished this squad of hulking bullgryns, and they were a good time to paint! In terms of projects im working on, i bought an additional 30 guardsmen, a rocket launcher heavy weapon squad, and 3 Chimera's, so ya pretty much a 3rd platoon. what can i say love my infantry. obviously progress is slow due to life, but as soon as I'm making some head way you'll see it here I also like to thank you guys for commenting and contributing to this thread! it does motivate me to keep the hobby alive in me and further add to my collection. thanks again CM Furious Icepick, WarriorFish and Guardsman Bob 3 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289978-astra-militarum-gregorian-101st/page/4/#findComment-4631391 Share on other sites

Chapter Master Furious
Hey Guys, back with a small update. have been working on my 3rd platoon for the army, which consists of 1 Platoon HQ, 2 infantry squad, and a heavy weapons squad with rocket launchers. the first squad I've finished was the command, which still is one of my favorite squads to build/ paint The picture quality isn't the best, But I hope you guys still get a sense of what the squad looks like. currently finishing up my 2nd infantry squad, and about to start on my heavy weapons squad. Of course there will be more updates to come!
