Inquisitor (54mm RPG)

Greetings brothers,

I was wondering if anyone was still playing or collecting Inquisitor, and within the confines of the rules here on B&C, if you have any Artemis, Guardsman, Assassins or Inquisition models/conversions to show off?

I've got together a decent collection of common and rarer models over the last few months, and i'm keen to get some painting/conversion inspiration.

I have several of the models, but only played two games of it when it first came out. Recently, I started working on turning the Eisenhorn model into the younger version depicted here:

Removing the braces from the legs and sculpting new detail in its place:

Braces and stuff removed from the back of the head, and adding more muscle to the face so he doesn't look so gaunt as well as removing the wrinkles:

Most recently, I made the decision to completely sculpt new arms because it would be less trouble than trying to convert the original ones(and the left one went missing anyway). In removing the head and collar of the storm coat, the shoulder pads got damaged, so I'm rebuilding those as well:

Wow, thats some great work so far. Looking forward to seeing the outcome.

I have a second Artemis on the way which i'm hoping to reposition the arms on and buy a helmet for. The rest are fairly generic at the moment, albeit with the 'expansion' sets added to an Eldar ranger and Kroot merc.

I have 2 Eisenhorns, a Covenant, Gruss, and Tyrus models. My brother bought a Slick Devlan figure way back when and recently donated the remaining pieces to me, which is where I got the gun for my Eisenhorn conversion. I always wanted to get an Artemis figure but never got around to it, so I can't wait to see what you do with it.

I've 5 Artemis' currently......here's my favourite, you'll have to excuse the lack of proper execution, I made this 15yrs ago as a eager teen without the skills to match my ambition.....

iirc, the leg piping may even be blu tac as GS wasn't available in Oz at the start....

Cheers,

Jono

Hadn't even considered that was possible! I think i'll be aiming a little lower, just a rotation of the right arm at the elbow and have the left hand cradling the bolter rather than wielding a sword.

The collection as it stands today, with a few more in their boxes waiting to join in. Just finished putting together the Tau fireteam at the back, really happy with how they turned out.

Wait....Inquisitor scale Kroot and Tau?? When did that happen??

Back when the Exterminatus magazine was still a thing, which was probably about ten years ago. No doubt the models were still sold for a time after the magazine died on the GW website but...

Are they still available somewhere??

I'm pretty sure they're OOP now. Ebay is the only place to get them, market-wise.

my 54mm stuff is still wip but some pics anyway in case it gives any one an idea
