Grim Dog Studios
Sorry if this has been asked before, tried a search but didn't find anything that substantial. I like the idea of seekers, and am toying with placing a squad of them in my army. I will be using the Raven Guard RoW, which allows them to take a drop pod as a dedicated transport. However, I'm not quite sure how best to use them? A squad of Combi-meltas doesn't seem too bad, but with the bigger tougher tanks in 30K, I see them not having the same potential sternguard might have in 40K at tank-busting. Any help would be appreciated, even if it's just somebody saying they aren't worth their points! Cheers, James Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/290073-how-to-use-seekers/ Share on other sites
hisdudeness
I haven't looked at them too hard yet, but thought they would play just like sternguard. They might be better as HQ assassins. Or at least kill off some of the bubble wrap around them. Noserenda
With ceramite being so plentiful you are probably better served tooling them with Combi Plasmas and going 2+ Hunting :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/290073-how-to-use-seekers/#findComment-3663668 Share on other sites
Grim Dog Studios
Thanks for the replies! I'm personally not a fan of terminators, so I doubt I'll be getting any for a while. I think you both could be right, and I could possibly use them as an anti-termi kind of unit, and hopefully with their special ammunition they won't be completely useless once they've shot their plasma.
