Brother Casman
LEGO? These are made with actual, real LEGO blocks? Man, things have changed since my childhood. I think these are mock-ups using a Lego design program. Still pretty cool, though. Sanguine_Knight
That has to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen! Brother_Ead
A quick google search revealed the really sad thing about this. One used to be able to use LEGO's own design software to generate instructions and order exactly the parts needed from LEGO as a kit. That ended January 2012 for completely unrelated reasons. I found this: LEGO Digital Designer. I do not know if it has all bricks though. There seems to be a how-to to unlock all bricks here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=53760 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/290147-lego-ultramarines/#findComment-3666630 Share on other sites

Azatoth
Click on "Important News: You Can No Longer Order Your Models." That's what I said. Not via the Designer, but Lego still has http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Pick-A-Brick-ByTheme and the Designer still gives building instructions. So yes it is more work, but you still can get the needed info and bricks. Inquisitor Kravin
In my childhood (the eighties) we'd have had to build those things in really true scale (i.e. 8 feet tall) in order to avoid them lookinig like they'd been pixellated. Kilofix
And I thought Forge World was on the expensive side: http://www.amazon.com/Lego-Star-Wars-Death-II/dp/B000FTXNRI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1402821302&sr=8-3&keywords=lego+death+star Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/290147-lego-ultramarines/#findComment-3719187 Share on other sites
Slips
And even a Super Star Destroyer straight from Lego will net you a 500$ spending :X - Although weirdly enough the Death Star on Lego's site is also 500$ not the 2k on amazon :\ still hefty but not outrageous EDIT : wrong death star! the one you linked is OOP...hence the price hike..originally was 300$! and the other one I was thinking of is not nearly as cool because of the rooms :\ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/290147-lego-ultramarines/#findComment-3719192 Share on other sites
