Relics of the Armoury and secondary detachments

Do you need a keeper of the relics to have models with the relics of the armour rule in the secondary detachment, or just if you intend on having more than one? This is concerning imperial armour 2, and the wording of the rule featured on page 243.

You cant have more than one, because you only get one FA/HS/Elite slot... unless you can find one thats a troop?

So yes, they must have a keeper of the relics if you want to ally them in.

the javlin speeder is fast attack and the sicarin is a HS, but you still need the mandatory hq to be a motf (or equivalent)
