Also joining them for adventures will be an inquisitor with his warband. Decided to start this as a place I can put their respective WIP shots :). Not sure it's the best time to start this, seeing as I have final exams in a few weeks, but anyway :P. For veterans I'll sprinkle in some Scion parts perhaps :). At the time an Proctor in the Adeptus Arbites, Eisenberg was leading a Arbites supression team as part of an Inquisitorial operation when they were ambushed by a well equipped cell of insurrectionists. The majority of the team were killed or seriously wounded; Eisenberg subsequently joined Inquisitor Nithard for the remainder of the Akechi Uprising as a liason between Nithard and various local enforcment authorities. At the conclusion of Nithard's involvment in the Uprising, Eisenberg joined his warband permanently. He bears scars on his face from when he used his arbites issue shotgun to block a strike from a crude power weapon wielded by an Insurrectionist leader. The resulting clash caused the shells to explode, causing his injuries. He is pictured here with preparing to throw a frag grenade. He retains his armour and uniform from his days in the Arbites, although Arbites insignia have been removed." So, to start off, a simple head and had swap. The base model is a Necromunda Arbites squad leader. The hands are from space marines, and the shotgun is from the FW Recon marine kit. The head is from the Cadian Command Squad pack. More work needs to be done though - need to give him a neck with GS (just a pin holding it in place atm), and I'm considering giving him a fur lining to his coat (not sure yet though). Rick Mannheim - former ganger Sandau - imperial agent Brick and Bodel - former rogue trader household security Imperial authority (former + current) Jeske Eisenberg Interrogator Dornez. - Not sure how I'm going to convert this model, whether he'll be a simple warband member, or perhaps another inquisitor. Frenk - inquisitorial stormtrooper lieutenant Inquisitor Nithard - I'll be replacing his head with the FW Games Day Enforcer head, and giving him new arms/hands too. Really excited about converting this guy. K-R0, known as Kuro, cyber mastiff - counts-as arco-flagellant Mechanicum Oll - servitor. Just a mockup for now, not sure if this'll be his final form. Gendo Sigma-1 - counts-as Jokaero More are scheduled to join this group too, including the obligatory Nurgle Lord conversion, a death cult assassin based on Lelith Hesperax, House Escher member with plasma cannon, and another large servitor conversion. Also there'll be several sanctioned psykers (or Wyrdvanes as they are now known) models, lead by a Primaris model, controlling and channeling a dangerous alpha psyker (represented by a DE Medusae conversion). Would normally paint them to a better standard . General feel I was going for was Helghast from Killzone, but with piercing blue instead of orange for the goggles. Conclusion I've come to though is while I think the uniform scheme is cool, from afar I recon the army would just end up looking like a sea of grey/back, and pretty drab . A few alternative schemes are below, any thoughts? I recon the beige/purple one would pop nicely on the battlefield, but camouflage kinda goes out the window... Dosjetka Posted April 28, 2014 Share Posted April 28, 2014 That's a nice start! I love the Cadian rebreather heads, so I'll be looking out for more Guard with those! Colour scheme-wise, I like the one on the left the most. On the Inquisition side of things, I'm really excited to see what more you'll come up with. Dosjetka Posted April 28, 2014 Share Posted April 28, 2014 Imagine if the Imperial Guardsmen that the Inquisitor and his band are leading have actually been taken over by Genestealers and the Inquisitor+agents haven't realised what kind of a mess they're in? Anyhoo, here's what I've been working on: Servitor (as yet unnamed). The obligatory Nurgle Lord conversion . I wanted to change a little bit more though, so both arms and legs have been swapped.
