But since my girlfriend and daughter were home, and I promised to take my daughter to get her nails done and such for her prom, it has been a bit of a waste of a painting day. Started on the chapter honor guard, but ran out of wash til I could get to my supplies. They will be done today. Tomorrow is 2 tac squads and 2 scout squads and some agis defense lines. I really don't think of it as a loss, just not a day to get much painting done. But she had fun, so that is what matters. Â Got the scouts highlighted today and they are drying from the wash. arizonajirt Posted May 5, 2014 Author Share Posted May 5, 2014 Thank you guys. I'll get hot and heavy back into painting tomorrow. Today I was able to get the scouts done and a bit of a tac squad, but decided that today would be better off working on planting some veggies in the garden and spending time with the fiancé while my daughter was at work. Some scions, tauxos and commissar for my daughter and I to share in out ig armies. I was trying for a black metallic look so I did that and about 4 coats of nuln oil airbrushed on then 2 coats put on with a brush after details were done. And thank you chaplain blacklord.
