Arizonajirt's ETL III WIP

Ok guys, I have run completely out of Loyalist marines. i never thought I would say such i thing. I have spoke with semper and cleared me to paint up my chaos marines, BUT point them as loyalist marines. I am not allowed to do my imperial guard, cultists or lord of skulls,for obvious reasons, which is more than fair since I am being a traitor for a few weeks. so please do not come and track me down and burn me. as always I will post a list and in brackets will be the chaos equlivelent to what the model truely is.

I Arizonajirt answer the call of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete the below list from Codex: Space Marines of total value of 4,087 points on or before August 1st. Success will bring eternal glory to Raven Guard and failure will doom me to bear the Badge of Shame until the year-end.

Same as alway brother. Assembly line. I'm putting 2-4 units at a time on the table and doing one color across all before I move to the next. Makes it move so much faster. If I got balls to the wall, then I can finish 3-4 units a day.

I just got 7 units in a trade to go with my black Templars. But I'm always looking for more loyalists to add to my armies. Hell I may even start a new army all together once I finish my Templars.

It all depends on how you paint. It works great for me. Plus I have time to paint all I want. Give it a shot with a single unit. Then add another's if it works for you, great. If not, try another technique

Thai may be my last for the etl. I had to scrape models to get this, but we will see, a 4th and 5th vow, if that happens, would be much smaller.

So when will the Squirrel be done and how many points is it worth?

I have been taking my time with this one. Had to strip everything to start over. But I have Mondays, Wednesday morning and Fridays to paint all I want. Try to spend the rest of the time with the family and trying to find a job. This vow comes in at just over 4,000 pts. All together I have a bit over 18,000 total vowed.

Ok better now. Also I love how the front leftmost guy in the first "vanguard vet" picture seems to be staring at his chain axe dumbfounded. Plus your "motf" is wonderful.

They only support the enemy in color, but In etl points, it's all the good guys.

Ah you mean the rending squirrel. Well it's a flying gargantous creature, has 300 hull points, 1+ armour safe, 1+ invul save and has armour bane, flash bane, poison 1+, rending, ws10, bs10, s10, i10, a10, ld10, 1+ sv. And it will not die on a 1+, Has 4 power weapons and s10, ap 1 laser eyes. And it even really burns.
