Graham McNeill and Sanskrit

Recommended Posts

The Imperial Palace in centered on the Tibetan Plateau, so it makes sense.

Except they don't speak Sanskrit in Tibet.  They barely speak Sanskrit in India.

Nothing wrong with that, I guess he just uses Sanskrit because it's a recognizable language and it's really really old.

Maybe at the moment that is the case but give it an odd 30,000 years or so and the possibility is definitely there. It's a looong time for languages to remain static (or exist) geologically.

Sanskrit is the asian Latin

it is a dead language, it is now nearly only used in Buddhism and Hinduism for their religious stuff

Root aIndo-European words have been constructed from modern language families, perhaps given time well be using Neolithic as a formal language?

It us something I love about McNeil, but the books become tediously ridiculous.

Ha, just saw the Jesus spoke American +1 :)
