PensacolaWarhammer
I've exhausted my Google-fu. I'm trying to convert some Cadian guards me to Harakoni Warhawks. To give you an http://pensacolawarhammer.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/1507706_776610639023301_4852469025483159010_n.jpg http://pensacolawarhammer.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/10305426_776610505689981_2166533925121128271_n2.jpg As you can see, most of the parts are made using the Elysian Drop Troopers and Cadian heads with respirators from Forgeworld. I would like to use standard Cadian shoulder pads to give them a touch more bulk while at the same time still using the Elysian's lasgun carbine. Any suggestions would be great. I'm wondering is there a way to get just Cadian shoulder pads, or is there a company that sells similar shoulder pads?
Dragonkin Arenis
They're looking good as they are, in my opinion. Cadian tank crew (Baneblade!) usually have a couple of spare shoulder pads in the kit, but I think they have a little embellishment on them; I'd check the bitz websites if you fancy making an order. PensacolaWarhammer
Thanks. Those conversions are not mine, but I do agree that the look great. I just think the Cadian shoulder pads would be just that pinch to make them look bulkier and different. If all else fails I'll certainly go with the ones shown. Kilofix
Check this out: http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=77_68 I've ordered from them before - good service / quality.
PensacolaWarhammer
@Kilofix Would those fit Imperial Guard shoulder without swallowing them?
Calgar 2.0
Check this out: http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=77_68 I've ordered from them before - good service / quality. @Kilofix Would those fit Imperial Guard shoulder without swallowing them? They are meant for Astartes minis, so they wouldn't work for guard, unfortunately.

Lucien Eilam
Have a look at Warhammer Grave Guard shoulder pads. You'll have to trim some of the detail (some of them have spikes or skulls) but they're probably about the right size. Or just use green stuff. Shoulder pads are one of the easiest things to sculpt. WarriorFish
You get shoulder pads with any of the newer vehicle kits as part of the upgrade sprue, but it's not a viable way to get them unless you love tanks to a level even I'd question. Maybe you can ask around your local stores to see if any Guard players can give you theirs if they're not using them?
Hemal
bitz order the vehicle shoulder pads, not normally a good selling component. I'd second teh Grave Guard - definitely a good component and the spikes and skulls are very gothic Imperial TBH.
PensacolaWarhammer
I've looked at the Grave Guard and they have potential. The shoulder pads from the tank spur can work too. I'd just have to file the skull down. Thanks for all the pointers. I certainly will post pictures once I get things together.
