Is the next book Dark Angels and Bloody Angels?

Recommended Posts

I noticed in the Imperial Fists section of extermination that the Blood Angels could have the fancy new assault cannons, which reminds of the seeker bolts added to the second book prior to the alpha legion being included in the next book, might just be reading to much into it though.

Wait. Wait. Wait.

What do you mean by "stop-gap"? As in, filler?

We only have indirect citation, so I wouldn't get too hung up on the term.

But what we've heard is that FW wants to catch up on all the unreleased miniatures for Books 1-3, so the next book will be a sort of stop-gap to tide us over but without putting them further behind.

That sounds like there won't be any "new" units in the next book, but that's just an interpretation of second-hand information, which makes it third-hand at best, so. We're all still in wait-and-see mode.

There won't be any "new" units that aren't in the process or near future of receiving models.

Stop gap was poor word choice on my part. Sisters of silence, space wolves require a lot of time as do custodes and 1k sons due to rules and making sure they are balanced due to them being so divergent from previous legion/mechanicum

Well, I'm personally happy to see some more fluff on already-released Legions, especially considering:

A - unlike in Massacre, which revisited the 1st book's Legions a little, Extermination had nothing on the past book's Legions

B - otherwise, there'd have been a massive wait until all other Legions have been done

C - hearing about unknown, smaller conflicts would be cool, especially if they involve fights between Legions that haven't been matched before
