Demus Ragnok
Is there anything fluffwise that would prevent Knights from serving as part of a Titan Legion? As in painted in the colors of said Legio. I have some fluff floating around for a DIY legio but ever getting to buy or build a titan isnt likely. Purchasing a knight, or two, isnt so unfeasable. And i would like to maybe paint at least one knight in my Diy titan colors. Any fluff hurdles to that idea? JeffTibbetts
Yeah, in the companion book they talk about the Legions annexing Knights permanently in some cases. It's common for Knights to change their colors when that happens. Do it! incinerator950
Considering the Fiefdoms originally were planets that were feudal with resources the Mechanicum wanted, yes. They're used as auxillary and support vehicles. As opposed to Warhounds, which are usually kept in small numbers or Wolfpacks solely for scouting. This is older fluff as it seems different with the new codex, but you could also be annexed to a Titan Legion, and I doubt that role would change. Do you have a Titan Legion in particular you want to be apart of? CommodusXIII
I'm doing this very thing with my Knight army. Here's my running Hall of Honor thread, which has some added information. Little details are used to tie the Knights to the Adeptus Titanicus. I've added a kill pennant under their main weapon arm, similar to the larger Titans. I created a chassis symbol in the style of the markings from Epic, used to inform foot troops the make and model of the Knight as it walks past, which is on the lateral side of each shin armor plate. The color scheme was inspired by a classic GW palette often seen in Epic: http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080922113532/warhammer40k/images/1/10/Warlord_Titan.jpg http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111218225206/warhammer40k/images/1/15/Kev_walker_imperius_dictatio.jpg In the end, it's your army and you get to do what you want with it! Allegiance to or annexation into the Adeptus Titanicus is certainly within the realm of possibility. Good luck, and may we one day walk together to victory!
