Sorry, I never got any pictures from my games, and this is from memory, just a quick recap of a couple League games I played today at 1750 points.

1st game was against Ultramarines. My opponent had all scouts, one squad with HB, 2 (or 3) others all snipers w/missile launcher, and another with nothing special IIRC, a Dev Squad (all missiles) and a Centurion Dev Squad, 2 Inquisitors, Chapter Master, Knight Paladin, and a Firestorm Redoubt w/ void shield. Also a butt load of Servo Skuls.

I had a Stormwing, 5 man Tac in Las/Plas Razorback with Plasma Gun and Combi-plas, 10 man Tac with Plasma Gun, Cannon and Combi-Plas squadded with plas gun in rhino other half behind Aegis Line with Lascannon, Thunderfire cannon, 5x Assault Termies with Asterion Moloc in Raven, Sternguard in Drop Pod with 2 plas guns and rest combi-melta. Minotaurs Chapter Tactics.

Game was The Relic. Opponent went first. His Cents and Warlord were in the Redoubt. He shot at my Rhino behind cover with the Redoubt and Knight and snipers and I managed to make all my cover saves. Orbital Bomb on Aegis and wiped my combat squad and put a wound on the gun emplacement. A 5-man scout sqwuad who had scouted picked up the reic. My turn, the drop pod landed but scattered closer to the Knight, which was okay because I wanted to bring my Sternguard to bear on it. Interceptor fire saw 2 Sterns dead. The other three fluffed their rolls vs. the Knight. Rhino moved around to the right to get behind the ruin where the Snipers were. Shot from fire point at the Knight and the Plas Gun killed himself with a Get's Hot roll. :/ Unfortunately, being a Knight, I didn't get the preferred enemy re-roll. Thunderfire cannon scattered away, Razorback Las/Plas'd the void shield and other shots were made to try to bring down the void shield and they either missed or failed to meet the AV 12. SO for one turn, the only wound/casualty was to myself.

Turn 2 the Knight moved forward and blasted the snot out of the Razorback. The marines emergency disembarked into the ruin the Razorback was hiding in. Snipers wiped the last three Sternguard. Snipers fired at the Rhino but didn't manage to hurt it. My Stormwing zoomed on and the Raven Jinked to avoid the Redoubt Interception, Rhino made it around the Ruin on the right and the Marines disembarked. The Marines proceeded to wipe one of the Sniper units with the help of the Drop Pod's storm bolter. The Talons laid into the scout units in the left ruins and killed a couple but they went to ground and made their cover saves. The Raven fluffed it's snap shots. Other Talon whittled down the Relic unit to three men. Gun emplacement managed to drop the void shield. Thunderfire scattered off the Dev squad on top of the Redoubt.

Turn 3, the Knight moved around the Ruin, tried Stubbing the marines in the ruin but they saved. His big gun hit the Thunderfire but cover saves were made. Snipers killed 3 of the Marines from the Rhino but they stayed put. Relic squad moved back. Other squads from the left ruin moved out towards the Relic unit for support. The Centurions Grav Cannon'ed the center Talon to death. My turn, the Raven Hovered and released the Terminators and Moloc. It fired on the Knight and managed to strip a Hull Point. The Talons hovered and began blasting the scouts again killing a few leaving one squad wth an Inquisitor and 1 scout. Thunderfire hit the Devs and killed one. Marines on the right fired bolt pistols and killed one sniper than assaulted. The terminators did a disordered assault on the Relic squad and the two man unit. They killed all but one marine in the Relic squad, wiped the other scout and Moloc challenged the Inquisitor and killed him gaining me a VP. He managed to make a snake Eyes roll to hold on the lone scout.

After the pile in... the outcome was inevitable. The Marines on the right killed one and lost one, leaving one marine in the fight.

Turn 4. The Cents fired on the Raven, and I forgot to have it move to get the Jink and it went bye-bye. Redoubt blew the other Talon out of the sky but it explode scatter landed in no man's land. He moved his Knight into my deployment zone and didn't remember until after the game that it couldn't get Linebreaker since it was a vehicle and not a scoring unit. It fired on the cannon but I, again, made my saves. My Termies gibbed the lone scout. On my turn, my Terminators charge the remaining Inq/Scout unit. Asterion challenged again and killed the Inquisitor. The rest of the unit killed the Scouts. Unfortunately this left me open to....

Turn 5. The Cents piled on the Grav-love on the Terminators killing all of them and putting 1 wound on Moloc. Stupid me... I forgot that the Termies couldn't pick up the Relic so I should have consolidated away from the firing point of the building... . The Knight finally killed off the Thunderfire and the Techmarine who, on two 2+ saves... I rolled two 1s. The Redoubt fired on Moloc but he made all his 3++ saves. On my turn I assaulted the Dev squad on top of the Redoubt after we found out you can't assault a unit in a building. I challenged, he declined, I managed to kill 3 of them leaving his coward sergeant.

And then the game ended on a 1. All I had left on the table was the Aegis gun emplacement, an untouched (but empty) Rhino, and Moloc... but I won 2-1 thanks to his challenge VP vs. my opponent's first blood. It was a fun game and I totally was not expecting to win it.

I will write up my adventures against a Flying Circus list next.

2nd game was against a sort of Flying Circus list. My opponent had Be'lakor, Kairos, and a Demon Prince with the Grimoire. He had two units of Horrors in reserve a huge pack of Khorne Dogs, and a huge unit of Seekers. He had a bazillion psychic powers including Endurance and Iron Arm on his Prince, Iron Arm on Kairos, among others.

My list had to small units of Marines with Missiles + Flakk in Rhinos, a Unit of Sternguard with plas and combi-melta, a Firestorm Redoubt, Stormwing, Assault Terminators, 2 Hyperios Tarantulas with Command Platform, and Chaplain Ivanus Enokomi as my Warlord.

We played the Scourging with Night Fight in effect, and I got first turn. Which sucked because the only fast attack I had was my Storm Talons, but they were part of a formation so they didn't count for scoring. The battlefield had 2 forests in the middle, a ruin to my right, looking across the table there was a ruin on the left and right in my opponents half of the table. I put the Redoubt dead center, a rhino inthe ruin, one behind the redoubt, Sternguard in the Redoubt, Hyperios on the hill in my back left. He put Be'lakor in the ruin to my left and Kairos and Prince behind the Ruin to the right. Dogs next to the right ruin, and seekers behind and to the left of the left ruin.

Turn 1. Not much for me to do this turn. Redoubt fired on Kairos which was visible, but he made all his saves. The ruin Rhino moved up enough to see the dogs and Storm Bolter, Frag Missile, and Bolter fire cut down 1-1/2 dogs. That was it. His turn, Be'lakor jumped into the forest the dogs surged forward eventually assaulting my Rhino (overwatch doing squat), Kairos and Prince flew forward. Seekers moved up. The dogs destroyed the Rhino with weight of number of attacks and the marines disembarked to the ruins upper floor.

Turn 2. Storm Wing came on. My rear Rhino moved forward a little. Hyperios batteries fired at Be'lakor and Kairos, hitting both but failing to do anything. This would be a recurring theme. Even my opponent said he had never seen a game where one person rolled so many ones. Basically by the end of the phase, I whittled down the seekers some and managed to take one wound off Be'lakor. On his turn his dogs continued around through my backfield since they couldn't go into the ruins. Kairos and Prince vector struck the ruin unit and killed them off. Be'lakor did a vector strike against a Storm Talon and destroyed it. Seekers moved behind the ruin for protection. His horrors came on in the back left corner (from my vantage). I lucked out on this turn and he rolled the warp storm result that reduced his invuls by -1.

Turn 3. I poured a butt load of fire into Be'lakor. I took him down to one wound left. Kairos got grounded and I took a wound off him. I reduced the seekers down to about 5 models. I moved the only Rhino I had left toward the objective marker that was at the far middle left (the 4 point objective). Be'lakor puppet mastered the Stormraven and took a HP off the talon. Fortunately the Talon was not in the front arc where the Multi-melta could hit it, so only Assault Cannon and Hurricane Bolter. Dogs continued to move through the backfield. Kairos flew to the left side of the redoubt. Demon Prince did a vector strike on the Rhino and wrecked it. I disembarked towards the objective. His horrors moved into the back right ruin to gain a 3 point objective.

Turn 4. Marines moved toward the objective. Terminators disembarked from the Raven. I managed to kill of Be'lakor with the Hyperios. I poured everything I had into Kairos and finally on the last shooting attack I had, he failed his grounding test. Whew. I charged with the Terminators and Enkomi. My opponent was smart though... he made a challenge with Kairos so I could bring the full unit to bear on him since Enkomi gave them rage so they would have 4 attacks each. I totally fluffed my rolls and we tied. On his turn, he downed my other Talon with a beam attack (it was hovering), charge my marines with his seekers, his dogs came around to charge into the Terminator melee as did the demon prince. The sheer weight of attacks from the dogs (of which he had somethign like 13 left) tipped it and wiped the terminators and Enkomi. The Marines managed to hold against the Seekers, killing off a couple and losing maybe one. They tied. He failed his Grimoire roll and had already used his Kairos reroll that turn so -1 Invul.

Turn 5. My Sternguard came out to be able to fire on the demon prince. StormRaven and Redoubt fire managed to kill off Kairos. The marines got the seekers down to two models left with three of their own. On his turn, the dogs charged the marines. The marines killed off the Seekers, and the dogs brought the Marines down to one. Out of a total of 19 needed saves, I lost the other marines on the first 6 rolls. So 13 rolls for that guy and he survived.  Flickering Fire from the Horrors killed off all but one Sternguard. His Prince, with one wound left, charged my hovering Raven. In a twist of Ironyhe got an explode result, I rolled a hit on the scatter, the resulting blast killed off the Prince and a coupe dogs. in the melee.

Turn 6 happened. Basically he killed off the marines. Totally slaughtered. I think point wise he had something like 10 points (4 and 3 point objectives, slay the warlord, first blood, and killed two fast attack units... so actually 11) and I had 2... slay the warlord and killed a fast attack unit.I really should have had more boots on the ground to deal with objectives and cause more saves. I should have concentrated ont hat dog unit which really was the bane of my existence. :) But hey, my 3rd game ever so live and learn. :)
