WilhelMiniatures' World Eaters and other WIP projects

Recommended Posts

Tanks a lot. My Angron is still human. I haven't picked him up from the store yet, so I still don't have any pictures of him.

I am working on a new project though.

After painting Forge Worlds Great Unclean one for the fang, I became inspired to paint more Nurgle miniatures. In between exams I played around with different bits in my bits-box, kit-bashing three Death Guard, a sergeant and a very WIP Terminator/Lord/count-as Thyphus. I used Dark Vengeance Chaos Chosen bodies mixed with FW Space Marine Iron Armour and some Maxmini biohazard heads.

The plan so far is to make a small force of Nurgleish models which can be used as a detachment for my Chaos Renegades or Marines.

This is what I've done so far.

Hello. Sorry for the lack of updates for the last couple of months. I've been working on an entry for Armies on Parade, hosted by Games Workshop Oslo. I have decided that my World Eater army is too small, so I've started to make a display board for my Tyranids. If anyone is interested, they should check out my blog: http://wilhelminiatures.blogspot.no

But I do have something that could be interesting for you guys. I've finally managed to take some better pictures of the Forge World Great Unclean One I entered in The Fang.

I've got another small update that might interest you guys. My Tyranids for armies on parade have kept me quite occupied, but i managed to put together something for this years Golden Daemon. Green-stuff, horns, wings and a serpents tale will be added as soon as I get my latest Ebay purchase of bits. This is a very work in progress picture of Daemon Primarch Fulgrim:

Now that my Tyranid Armies on parade board is finished (I got 1st place! Check out pictures of it here: http://wilhelminiatures.blogspot.no), I've finally got time to get beck to power armoured miniatures.

In the last couple of days I've worked on my Daemon Fulgrim for Golden Daemon next month. It's only two weeks left, but I hope I will be finished painting him in a standard that I'm happy with before then. the conversion is finished, and I think he looks really cool. His torso, head and main arms, are from the original Forge World Fulgrim. I picked the second set go arms from Forge Worlds Emperors Children Paladin Blades Squad to give him an extra set of swords, matching his main two hand weapon. The feathered whinge are from the Dark Eldar Scourges. And the serpents tale is from a  Tomb Kings Sepulchral Stalker.

I finished my Inquisitor Lord on three legged walking throne a couple of weeks ago. Finally I got around to take a couple of pictures of it. Following the instructions in the article in last weeks White Dwarf (about how to get good photos), I got a result that I'm very happy with.

I decided to bring this model to England next weekend as well. It's not the best model I've painted, but it's one of the best conversions I've done, so I feel it has earned a chance in the vehicle category in Golden Demon 2014.

I tried to give the model a John Blanche feel to it. By using Epedemius' throne, combined with a chaos Hellbrute from Dark Vengeance, I feel that I managed this quite well. The Inquisitor Lords torso and the chair's claw-arm are also from different Chaos Space Marine kits. The legs are scratch built from plastic pipes, and the back made of electronic components. What I'm probably most happy with on the model, is the Inquisitor's green-stuff judge wig, and little judge hammer. He has also got a very tiny moustache painted on his upper lip.

I've also started painting Daemon Fulgrim! This is what I've done so far:

Thanks for looking! Please tell me what you think.

The Inquisitor is really awesome! I love the servitors and the wig! The one thing I am not 100% sold on are the legs, however, because the effect looks a bit undecided, like you had to do something with the lower legs and only figured out this solution as a last resort. In my opinion, you should either have added lower legs or made the stumps with the cabling even more gruesome and disturbing -- but that is my only nitpick on an otherwise great model!

Daemon Fulgrim is an extremely clever conversion, and the paintjob seems to be coming along rather nicely as well.

Keep up the amazing work! :)

It has been a while. But now I'm back with a couple of new models to show you.

First I want so share some pictures of my finished Daemon Filgrim! I'm really happy with this model. So I hope you guys like him as well.

I also have another picture of my Inquisitor Lord. This time on a white background. The details look a lot better on this photo.

Two of my crazy henchmen are also finished. The models are inspired by The Archo Evisirators I found on the blog: Spiky Rat Pack.

Lastly I've started on a new model for my Inquisitor Warband. I'm really happy with it so far, and hope she turns out nice when I start painting her.

The model is based on a Warhammer Fantasy Witch Elf.
