Demoulius
Hey guys, Ive got a stupid question thats probably very obvious but I cant find an anwser for.... In a Chaplain's liturgies of blood it says he and the unit hes with gain reroll to hit on the charge. Ok, so far so good. It then says that models in a DC get reroll to wound on the charge as well... So heres my question, does the Chapy also gain that if hes joined a DC? Im unsure and cant find the anwser in the FAQ anywhere Cheers, Demo Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291038-stupid-question/ Share on other sites
ElectricPaladin
Nope. The chaplain remains an ordinary Space Marine and not a member of the death company. As a result, he does not gain the special benefit of rerolling wounds on the charge. Jakbal
Unless you're using Lemartes as the Death Company Chap(lain)-erone. Lemartes' special rules grant him the ability to re-roll failures to wound. Nova_chron
To be honest a chaplain should very rarely fail to wound with new power maul rules... In the last 3 games I used one he failed to wound 3 times all against T6-9 targets.
