Leif Bearclaw
The title says it all really. Once I'm done with my current ETL vow, I'll be looking to do some guys with Mark of the Wulfen, but I'm not sure of the best way to represent them atm. How do peeps here model them to be distinct? Dam13n
My 13th company (linked in my sig) has a few MotW models. I chose to use the wolf head helmet, dual chain swords and the wolf skull and cross-bones shoulder pad to mark out my wulfen. There are some cool 3rd party conversion parts that could be used if you want a more "werewolf" style look. But I've not used them myself. Marshall Bretton
I use a lot of warriors of chaos bits in my armies, with wulfen I tend to pick the most feral screaming heads I can, and give them either dual cc weps like 2 axes, or just empty hands painted flesh coloured and maybe with a touch of blood or something Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291068-modelling-mark-of-the-wulfen/#findComment-3687007 Share on other sites
Baulder
I find genestealer claws make for good conversion. Stole the idea from here http://spearofruss.blogspot.ch/2009/10/simple-mark-of-wulfen-conversion.html Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291068-modelling-mark-of-the-wulfen/#findComment-3687416 Share on other sites

Grimtooth
My old MotW models all had the shoulderpads with the fur that covered them to represent them having to hide their affiliation. They were then also armed with a variety of dual wielded weapons (chainswords, chain axes) or with the massive two-handed axe. Early on I marked their faces with red paint as well to specifically having them being marked. Now I just have old 13th Co Wulfen models representing them. Fytharin
What Ramses said minus all the trial and error leading up to it. I just bought the old 13th Co wulfen models on ebay Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291068-modelling-mark-of-the-wulfen/#findComment-3688004 Share on other sites
Gideon999
I used the wolf helmets as well, but painted them black with a bunch of diagonal, red lines to represent claw marks. They also got BP/CCW and the legs with the fur tabbard to give them a little more beastly look.
