its-all-in-the-roll Posted May 15, 2014 Share Posted May 15, 2014 Well ive been messing with the idea of putting a LR Ares in my 2k pure deathwing list. Ive started my first ever conversion and i must say chopping at new models is scary! Heres a few pics i aint finished yet but its 3am here and im near dead. Grotsmasha Posted May 15, 2014 Share Posted May 15, 2014 Looks pretty cool so far. The trick with GS is to not try and do it all at once. Do a pass at mostly gap-fill, then a leveling pass then lastly a shaping pass or two. It takes time, but the end result will speak for itself. If you're doing something and it's looking good, stop. Let it dry, then return and put something else over it/by it.
