SteelPaladin
Sorry if this is not in the right sub-forum, but I figured that it might be a fun read for BL fans. http://www.reddit.com/r/Warhammer40k/comments/25m3e6/ama_with_graham_mcneill/ A few Horus Heresy tidbits scattered about. Looks like McNeill is writing something for the Alpha Legion, perhaps a Novella. Brother-Chaplain Kage
Most likely a limited collector's edition, hard bound 158 pg novella for $70, given the current trend. Aegnor
And yet his AMA wasn't besieged by people asking him why he screwed up the Ultras or felt the need to disrespect the Codex Astartes. Instead many people complimented him on the Ultramarine series. Almost like the issues several people on B&C have with him are quite niche concerns. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291121-graham-mcneill-ama/#findComment-3691990 Share on other sites

Veteran Sergeant
And yet his AMA wasn't besieged by people asking him why he screwed up the Ultras or felt the need to disrespect the Codex Astartes. Instead many people complimented him on the Ultramarine series. Almost like the issues several people on B&C have with him are quite niche concerns. Or most readers aren't terribly discerning. /shrug Though, to be fair, I don't have anything against him personally, so even if I'd known about the AMA while it was happening, I wouldn't have hassled him about it. Some of us don't like the way he writes some of his novels. Doesn't mean we would try to hijack his AMA to be jerks. battle captain corpus
Not quite sure why all the hate leeks out over the Ultra's books either....personally I think its pretty brave for an author (who at the time it was his FIRST book for BL) to tackle the poster boys of 40k and give them some life and love....-shrug-...I've never found anything wrong with them as books, the push the canon, they challenge ideas and misconceptions....pretty good considering the amount of dross others churn out.... ....and they gave us Hon-Su stories to boot!
