tdemayo
Every picture of him shows him with a shaven or bald head. Has any reference ever been made to his hair? Has he ever worn a top-knot like the Sons? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291140-horus-hair/ Share on other sites
Demus Ragnok
In one of the first novels, maybe Horus Rising, it mentions that he had "black hair clipped short". Or something like that. That's the only mention I can think of. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291140-horus-hair/#findComment-3689410 Share on other sites

GrandMagnus
Is the shaved head a Cthonian cultural feature? If I recall shaved, short hair, mohawks and top knots are common among Chtonian gangs. There might stil be a few with long hair and dreadlocks, because they are gangs, they might have unique traditions and stuff. Anythings possible I would say. b1soul
Cthonians tend to be quite barbaric in a post-apocalyptic techno-savage way Topknots, mohawks, shaved heads would probably be most common I can't see Horus with long flowing locks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291140-horus-hair/#findComment-3689473 Share on other sites
Aegnor
I reckon Horus had blonde hair. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291140-horus-hair/#findComment-3689570 Share on other sites
Clone
There's actually a little known bit of fluff about Horus' hair. Basically he used to have long flowing blonde hair that would look good in any hairstyle, I mean entire planets accepted compliance if they could just touch it, but sanguinius was jealous. He was supposed to be the beautiful blonde Primarch and so he had Horus shave it off on the promise that Sangy wouldn't become Warmaster but when he faced horus on the Vengeful Spirit during the Siege of Terra, horus had grown it back and it was so stunning it actually caused the Black Rage. So there we have it. Bet you didn't know that did you? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291140-horus-hair/#findComment-3689609 Share on other sites

Trevak Dal
Helmets? The 18 most valuable leaders of the Imperium don't need _helmets!_ There's a funny line in the newest (imax) Edge of Tomorrow trailer where some guy asks Tom Cruise's character "Where's your helmet?" and he says "I don't wear one," Then again, he's got Groundhog Day type "powers" so dying isn't that bad for him-as he'll just come back and dodge the thing that killed him.
