It pains me to say this -- especially since it wasn't all that long ago that I was a happily involved moderator on the best forum on the B&C -- but as I've recently indicated elsewhere, 40K has rapidly turned into a game that I no longer enjoy. sad.png

There might be the occasional model I'll paint now and then, but I honestly do not see myself playing 40K at all for the foreseeable future. (But even if I did, the game as it exists doesn't support meaningful tactical discussions, which has always been the basis of my interest in forum discussions.)

And so, with that, I bid all of you a fond and bittersweet farewell.

At least for now. Never say never, I suppose! laugh.png Though I don't foresee this happening, it's possible GW will come to their senses and actually put as much effort and care into their game rules as they do with their models.

But shy of that, I know that those of you who still love this game will be better off without me injecting negativity into the atmosphere here.

May all your battles be glorious, and may you always smite the vile and terrible enemies of mankind with unmatched zeal.

Be seeing you.

I'm sorry to see you go Number6.  It will be a loss to the board.

I totally emphasise with you, and I doubt I'll be getting any games of 7th now.

And tactical and list building discussion seem rather pointless.

How should I build my list?  Add in as many Riptides (or the next most powerful / undercosted unit released) as you possible can. /done

It's a shame. :(

/salute

We lose one of our best as you leave. I have always enjoyed learning from you on this forum. Take care, gods protect you on the roads you travel, and may Thor always place his hammer between your family and danger. Till we see you again on the threads, farewell.
