This one got lost in the ether when the site went down!

My Name is Luna Wolvesmsn-wink.gif.

I am just reading the Horus Heresy Novels (for the First Time) I don't have any game books.

Does the Emperor ever come back to the Crusade or what? No Major Spoilers Please.

Calling down a spoiler drop for Komrk. Spoiler drop for Komrk, please. Heathens, we got a wriggler, here.

Komrk, for crying out loud, no spoilers! If Lunawolves returns, he's our case study (should he wish to adopt the mantle). He's not read any of the 40k lore so he's seeing the Horus Heresy fiction with completely fresh eyes. Don't ruin this.

Well knowing he knew NOTHING would have been helpful all things considered. Oh yeah komrk, that makes sense. Letting someone know that he knows nothing IS a good idea. /end snide remark. Not enough info was given for me to know that. For example I knew the entirety of the backstory 5 years before picking up a book of any kind.

Well, 'Case study' sums up the idea reasonably succinctly, without having to explain things too much. This is, of course, dependent on Lunawolves wishing to play along for the duration. I wouldn't blame him if he did not. The effort to avoid the multitude of spoilers out there is quite monumental, I think.

I Did say:

I am just reading the Horus Heresy Novels I don't have any game books.

I thought saying that he has No game books shows he doesn't know anything about the setting!

Anyway I have updated the OP to help new readers.

No I am not Luna Wolves!

Luna Wolves created a Post with the same title and he asked the same question.

That Post got eaten up by the Site Crash so I re-started it for him and everyone else.

I know All about what happened but Luna Wolves Doesn't!

So chances are, his beginning is similar to mine: first introduction to the fluff is through BL. But where I started off with Lord of Night, he's starting off with the Heresy.

So Lunawolves, we have to disappoint. The question of the Emperor's possible return is actually a monumental piece of the 40K setting. So until you're ready to do so, do not touch any game books or any 40K books. Do not go on Lexicanum and do not go on 40K wiki. And don't take this the wrong way, but I'd say isolate yourself so you can enjoy the moment your question is answered in full glory without any outside interference. Because it is a VERY major spoiler.

I was rather wondering where that thread went to as it sent the entire heresy sub-forum (inc. myself admittedly) into a tizzy as this young fellow managed to do what (afaik) the vast majority of us didn't get chance to do - read the 30k & 40k story with completely fresh eyes and a 'new beginning' perspective - if he's still about and happy to do it then (enter Brian Blessed) BEST OF LUCK! Lunawolves :D

So wait, I'm confused.

Is Scion of Ferrus also Lunawolves?

And does he/you know any of the Warhammer 40k or Horus Heresy back story or are you/he someone completely new to the entire universe starting at the very beginning?

No, Scion of Ferrus is not Lunawolves.

Scion of Ferrus is Alpharius

Lunawolves is Alpharius

They are both Alpharius, however they are not the same

Alpharius.

Has that cleared it up?

That has indeed, thank you brother thumbsup.gif

But wait, what if you're Alpharius?!

...What if I'm Alpharius and I just don't know it yet?!!
