Helbrute legs, Chaos dreadnought body

Hi guys I'll keep it simple. Basically I have an old Chaos Dreadnught body but the legs were converted years ago. I'm looking to redo the fella (he's soaking in dettol as I type) as an Iron Warrior. However, I'm missing the legs. 

My question is does anyone have any advice on which way to go? I'm thinking either get a pair of new plastic legs from a bits site or see if I can source some tracks. So:

1: Does anyone know if the I get plastic legs if the top half will be supported? 

2: If I go the tracked route, does anyone have any guides/tutorials for making some or where I can get some from?

Depending on pose, you could try the DV Helbrute, they can be got pretty cheap these days.

Eh, butchering the DV model is a pain in the ass if you're not adding anything to it. 

Plus the metal weight feels awkward with the plastic legs, but you could always try looking for Loyalist dread parts.
