Inquisitorial henchmen question in 7th edition

Hello

Just bought the rulebook, and skimmed through it.

What struck me was that almost everything can claim objectives, counting as scoring. Now of course, TROOPS have the advantage of "Objective secure".

My question is, what happens to units like our henchmen units. Units who have a rule, claiming that they are "scoring" even if they were not TROOPS (in 6th edition of course).

Is that rule now just taken away? I could imagine that some units would loss some benefits from losing an ability.

My guess here without any real knowledge atm, is that the henchmen are like everyone else now in the ELITE sections in the WH40k universe... scoring.

But I am of course hoping... that they would get the nifty rule of "objective secure". But thats just wishful thinking.

Anyone know if there is a FAQ out for stuff like this, or is the answer right infront of me...

They didn't lose the rule, it just doesn't give them any benefit under normal circumstances. It doesn't make them Troops, so as things stand they don't benefit from Objective Secured.

If you were playing a scenario that had more restrictions on which units counted as scoring, the rule would still be a benefit.

GW might change it to give them Objective Secured, but I think the point of the rule was to make it possible to play a "pure" Inquisitorial warband without it being impossible to win, so I wouldn't count on it.

An FAQ is sorely required. There are numerous things that need updating/explaining like this which should have been available at the launch of 7th edition.

I've been around for a few editions now, and I can safely say that never happens. GW always release FAQ's as a knee-jerk to the playerbase reactions. I'd give it a month or two before they bother noticing the damage they've inflicted. And there is no guarantee the FAQ's will solve much, they're invariably half full of stupid questions no sane person would ask, which further narrows down the room for improvement.
