shaun03
Has anyone used there system of paints? they seam to have a nice matted look to them, and straight forward laying process. They only that throws me off is made for airbrushing 75mm stuff, says they can be brushed on too, and not sure if there system would carry over to 28mm scale too small to see the effects? I have been looking for nnm system for sometime and came across them. Was thinning bout picking up some of there sets, they seem pricy and ( living in US paying euros). I don't mind investing in them just don't know if there worth it. Just wanted to see if anyone has any use with them and whats there thoughts on them, i found few reviews online they were very vague and left me with more questions than answers. DistroyA
I would have thought you be able to use those paints for 28mm miniatures. After all, paint is just paint, regardless of brand. Lucien Eilam
It's just paint, there are no "effects" to see. They have quite similar properties to the Vallejo Model Air range. The only consequence of being designed for 75mm miniatures is that using the sets according to the included guides results in a much softer, more subtle gradient than you might be used to at 28mm. 75mm needs less exaggeration and can rely more on natural light, so they're not designed around hard edge highlights or dramatic transitions like the Citadel Colour range. But you don't have to follow the guide. You really need to mix them with thinner and preferably drying retarder before use. They're quite thick and dry very fast straight from the dropper. And then make sure they're properly dry before painting over them. Fine for airbrushing, where you'll probably be doing all that regardless of which paint you use, but a bit slow and frustrating for brushwork.
