aries24
so, under the new rules if your army is unbound you cannot gain the 'objective secured rule'. but, just recently the FAQ's have gone up and pedro kantors rule has been changed to 'an army that includes pedro kantor, friendly units of sternguard have 'objective secured' so in a unbound army they would still have this rule... im confused Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291506-pedro-kantor-rules-dilemma/ Share on other sites
Gentlemanloser
Codex > BRB. So in an unbound army, all Sternguard form the same Faction as Kantor have Objective Secured. Now, are different Chapters from the Same Faction (Faction really means Codex)? captain Angel
Looks that way! My crimson fist first company just got awsome Nuts, got ninjaed I would say no, as you would need to ally them normally, and they would not benefit then. Brother_Marius
Wow, that is definately quite a powerful rule then. They should have added 'an army that includes pedro kantor, friendly units of sternguard have 'objective secured', if your army is battleforged' in my opinion. Venemox
Kantor as Deathwatch Captain, and an entire company of Sternguard as Deathwatch Marines. Boom, your Apocalypse Formation becomes a viable 40K force. Also, the FAQ says that it applies to friendly units of Crimson Fist Sternguard Vetarans, so I would imagine that means they have to have the appropriate Chapter Tactics rule to benefit. And that it would apply no matter how you gained them (Dataslate, Unbound, Primary Detachment, Allies, Combined Arms, etc.) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291506-pedro-kantor-rules-dilemma/#findComment-3700996 Share on other sites
