Chaos focus interaction with the other free primaris rule

The chaos focus rule in the rulebook gives a psyker with a mark of a chaos god the primaris of that god's psychic discipline for free. So a chaos sorcerer with a mark of nurgle is mastery level one. He gets the nurgle primaris for free, and is then free to roll on any discipline available to him (his compulsory nurgle power is fulfilled by the primaris).

Now, say he rolls biomancy. He generated 1 power from biomancy, and since the free nurgle primaris was not "generated", he could be considered as having "generated all his powers" from the biomancy discipline. A psyker that generates all his powers from a single discipline gets the primaris of that discipline for free. Does he get the biomancy primaris for free as well now!?

Alternative opinion: he has a power that he did not generate from biomancy (the nurgle primaris), hence he has not "generated all his powers" from biomancy, as he has a power that was not generated. Thoughts?

My understanding is that marked Chaos sorcs only get the Chaos Psychic Focus, rather than both.

You'd get the Primaris from the god's discipline, then are able to roll for whatever you want.

RAW, you have generated all your powers from Biomancy.

As per the entry on 'specific' powers, you don't 'generate' them.  You just have them.

Sadly, you don't get the Biomancy Primaris, as you don't have 'Psychic Focus'.

Because you have a power from another Discipline.  Regards of how you got it.

Having any power from another discipline stops you having Focus in any.

Edit: You're still free to swap your generated Biomancy Power for the Biomancer Primaris as usual.  But you don't get the Biomancy Primaris for free.

Also, for a ML1 Psycher, you still have to generate your single psychic power from the Lore of Nurgle table.

The chaos focus rule states that you gain the Primaris automatically for having a mark. The rule in the codex clearly states that you are required to roll atleast one power. The primaris cannot count towards the required powers and thus a Sorcerer with any Mark or Daemon Prince can never obtain the standard Psychic focus rule, only undivided one.

This was how I interpreted it as well.

Would say, a chaos lord with the scrolla of magnus and a mark of chaos get the chaos primaris, then roll for the scrolls (preventing him from getting the primaris of whatever he rolled)?

No, because he does not become a psyker until he rolls on the scrolls during the game.

I don't see anything about having to be a psyker before the game starts.

If the model is marked or a Daemon of X, it automatically knows the primaris. As soon as it becomes a psyker with a mark, it knows the primaris power.
