Emperors Immortals
"All friendly units with the Blood Angels faction within 6" gains the Furious Charge and Feel No Pain special rules" I've looked around am and still confused, does it mean allied guard blobs benefit now? Smendrik
I guess not, because otherwise it would be "All friendly units with the Armies of Imperium faction.." Plague Angel
"Faction" means "chosen from the same codex." Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291538-blood-chalice-and-the-faq/#findComment-3698911 Share on other sites
Emperors Immortals
Ah, faction was the confusing term, thanks plagueangel. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291538-blood-chalice-and-the-faq/#findComment-3698917 Share on other sites

Jolemai
Faction: Blood Angels is what you find in the BA Codex. Guard Blobs are Faction: Astra Militarum. So no, they do not. ChapelXIII
Blood Chalice affect Blood Angels; It does not affect their allies. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291538-blood-chalice-and-the-faq/#findComment-3699229 Share on other sites
Leksington
Blood Chalice affect Blood Angels; It does not affect their allies. Unless those allies are also from the BA codex. I think this is why the Rule needed to be worded in such a weird way. SnorriSnorrison
Might be because of some dataslates coming up for C:BA? You know, not exactly from C:BA, but for the same faction or something along the lines. I guess the FAQ becomes useless as soon as the codex hits anyway, so... You can only take more standard detachments right? You can only take more standard detachments right? "Allied Detachments" have to be from a different codex. But that's not the only way to get allies now. Demoulius
In 2v2 (or other such formats where you have multiple players) you can also have someone else playing with units taken from the blood angel codex. He would also benefit from it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291538-blood-chalice-and-the-faq/#findComment-3700115 Share on other sites
Quozzo
Battle forged lists can have multiple FOCs so 3 HQ and 6 troops etc. I think each is a different detachment so any unit from those could benefit from FNP from another detachment.
