Thunderhawk3015
I do storm grey personally. I don't like the quasi ultramarine blue that the studio gave to the wolves. The color is easy to do fadt and lets me spend more time one the details. d@n
i used to paint them grey, as it was really hard to get the blue right and uniformed. but now i normally spray them with fang, wash the recesses with dark reaper layer on russ grey for the base colour and then highlight with fenrisian grey and blue horror. Spazmonkey
Yeah I used the picture from the codex as my guide. as per my photos on the previous page. I really think the grey gore red and gold suits their personallity much better. it gives them a much more aggressive and feral look. The wolves are feared even in the Empire. Other chapters are wary of them as well... baby blue and yellow has just never inspired fear to me. We are wolves not puppies... Spazmonkey
Orange, with a heavy black wash and the company insignia in white on the shoulder pads. Folks unfamiliar with the army occasionally ask me at first about my Blood Angels. Can we see some pictures of this?
