Heru
Does "Type"(Purge, Annihilation etc) have any meaning in regards to Tactical Objectives or is it just so all those secure objective clones are easier to identify? I may have missed where they clarify it (if they do). Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/291757-tactical-objectives/ Share on other sites
Fibonacci
They just allow you to have more than one secure object X at a time. Other than that the type is meaningless. Disciple of Fulgrim
Oddly though, don't all the Tactical Objectives (even the unique ones, like "Kingslayer") have a type? (I.e. "Purge" or whatnot.) My thoughts were that either: 1. "Type" refers to some sort of game mechanic that was dropped from the final rules. Or ... 2. That "Type" was included to allow for differentiation between similar Objectives in future supplements or whatever. (So for instance in some future scenarios "Take and Defend" Objective 1 might eventulally count for more than say "Seize and Control" Objective 1.) (My apologies if I got these types wrong, but I'm away from my lovely new rules at the moment.)
