Resolving the issue of the missing legion pads

GWS has left quite a few legions out in the cold when it comes to legion shoulder pads.

 

Thankfully a lot if the missed out ones have some form of mk7 pad (for the loyalist atleast). So if your fed up of waiting for GWS to give your legion some pads I've got a work around for you.

 

You can make mk7:

Become mk2/mk3 by adding an additional thin plasticard rim (0.5mm):

Or mk6 by shaving off the rim completely:

The pads are let down a bit by my painting but you get the rough idea. If your into going a bit further you could add a bit of gs to make the mk3 have a curved rim and rivets as well.

 

Thinking of mk4 I guess you could file the rims a little thinner?
