Combat Squads Question

Hey, sorry for a noob question, picking up BA again since 5th ed. If you choose to deep strike a squad of 10 assault marines with jump packs, when do you decide to combat squad them? When they come in from reserve, or when you put them in reserve? If the latter, do you roll for each squad seperately for reserves?

 

I thought they covered this in an faq in 5th ed, but the 7th ed faq seems to lack this specification.

You decide combat squadding at the deployment phase, not at the deployment of the models.
