Mark of Slaanesh and unwieldy weapons

Question, mark of ... You guys.... Adds +1 initiative. Powerfist or power axe makes you strike at inititive one. What's the finial results? I know what I would say.

You pile in and strike at Initiative step 1.

 

Unwieldy never modifies your Initiative, like the Mark does, but it simply tells you when to strike with unwieldy weapons, such as the Power Axe and Powerfist.So, in a way, you have the Mark of Slaanesh, your Initiative is increased, and it stays increased. But you are just forced to ignore your still increased Initiative.

But any non-unwieldy weapons do benefit which gives us a nice advantage over many other armies. Marines especially.

Yup. I see it as part of the reason that Slaaneshis prefer elegant, swift weapons over graceless cudgels.

Don't forget that specialist weapons can be used together for the +1A. Like the Lightning Claw & Power Fist combo for those situations.

Slaanesh Slice-Dancers are nice (Chosen with four or five of them equipped with a pair of lightning claws).
