knife&fork Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 In case you haven't noticed there has been a few changes to these in 7th. Vehicle deep striking now count as moving 6" instead of 12". This means the death wind launcher is no longer a complete waste of points, it will actually enhance our alpha strike! That large blast does wonders if you mange to 'splode a transport but have no other shooting left to deal with the contents. Together with the new scoring pods they make for decent area denial. This also means that our (soon to be gone?) deep striking land raiders can fire two weapons on arrival. Enjoy it while it lasts boys! Tank shock no longer forces you to move more than 6". More important for regular marines as they can now pull they same trick as us and force units into dense piles before flaming them. Again this is a minor buff for land raiders, the redeemer in particular.
