ETL III - Captain Semper Vow

Well, I took the silly risk to vow in ETL III. 

 

It's not enough that the ETL is getting 99% of my online time, now it has to take some of my offline time too - at a period when my real time job becomes increasingly more demanding.

 

So moaning aside this is what I vowed:

 

 

 

I Captain Semper, the Master of Recruits, vow to complete a Squad of five DW Knights with Perfidious Relic for 245 pts before August 1st. Success will bring eternal glory to the Unforgiven and failure will doom me to wear the badge of the Oath Breaker until year end!

Looking very good, Semper! I have been diggin' the knights since the models were released (last year?) and you're doing them justice! I think that darker scheme actually fits them better than the bone colour a lot of people use, since the models seem so brooding, what with their hoods and whatnot . I'm really looking forward to seeing these guys finished! Keep it up, man!

Thanks AlanofAngels! I had an internal debate a few years ago as to what colour should the robes be, white or black (that is for normal marines - not termies because at the time there were no robed termies around :))... I thought the DA and DoC colours were too similar, and a white robe will make them practically indistinguishable. So I opted for the black version.

I kid. The bases come for the Trash series of basicks.eu (used to be Micro Arts Studio but they split up with the bases I use going with basicks).

Firstly well done for joining in the ETl.. (and for running it haha)

Secondly..well done on another excellent mini..be nice to see the whole squad painted..although they would probably look better if they were in cataphractii armour, painted purple and called emperor's children!

Beautiful work Semper! I've got to say the Deathwing minis look much better with the dark green armour, just some how more dangerous :)
