Primarch and the Legion command squad question

(I only have HH vol. 1 and not sure this question was answered in later books)

Hello, fellow HH players, I have a question.

On HH vol.1 pg. 189, "Master of the Legion" section, it is written "A model with this rule may also include a Command squad as a retinue as part of the same selection on the Force Organisation chart (see page 184)

On pg. 186, "Primarch" section, it is written "Primarch also incorporates the effects of a number of other special rules.... Master of the Legion (see page 189)

And lastly, on pg. 193, "Retinue" section on Legion Command Squad Entry, it is written "A Legion Command Squad may only be chosen as a retinue for a Legion Praetor...."

So... can a Primarch take a Command squad or not? I blame this on FW authors.

I really hope Command squad and Legion Command Squad (capital "S" right there) are not two different things....

Stop thinking like a rules lawyer. The quote on 193 is how you'd normally get a command squad. Primarchs also have access to them as can be seen by their entry. A sprinkling of common sense does wonders. Anyway with the new broken rules for 40k this sort of issue won't be an issue. Just take whatever you want.
