appiah4
I think Red and Blue looked better than any of those, unfortunately. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/292348-blue-blood-angels-successor/page/2/#findComment-3730804 Share on other sites
Brother Tyler
Have you considered a cream/flesh/bone tone instead of the white? It would become an extension of blood > flesh/bone and could be combined with either blue or red (or darker shades of those colors) to pretty good effect. A red/crimson/maroon would have a warm effect, reminiscent of the "blood" of the progenitor and the Sanguinary Cult while a blue/navy/midnight blue would have a cool effect. The Sons of Orar, Blood Ravens, and Marines Errant are examples of what I'm thinking of, but with the cream/flesh/bone dominating the scheme and the red/blue being used on selected areas. Albrek
Why not just go a different colour altogether? I have a lamenters army that Im painting in thier traditional colours, but my Space Marine/Dark Angles multi chapter army are Purple and Bone that being said I like the first of the light blue/silver(white?) schemes personally :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/292348-blue-blood-angels-successor/page/2/#findComment-3731810 Share on other sites
