sallyoz
Brothers I am currently building a grey knight army and am seeking advice as bulking out the army using either spare tac squad marines or DA veterans? My reasoning is that I will have 3 boxes of left over bitz after I have built my PA grey knights ( mainly purifiers as I have a Crowe model ) so I would like suggestions on how best to use these bitz. Any advice would be appreciated :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/292370-bulking-out-pa-grey-knights-with-left-over-tac-squad-models/ Share on other sites
Lucien Eilam
1. Put the bitz on eBay. 2. Spend the money on another box of Grey Knights. Seriously, I've seen people spend £1-2 on a single plastic head, 50p on a left hand from the GK sprue, etc. Adds up very quickly, and there's plenty of demand for Grey Knight bitz. appiah4
PA is PA, go crazy with using the Tacticals (though the robed veterans won't fit in that well). Lord Commander Scrymgeour
I think the robed DA will fit amazingly with the grey knights! Do it and post pics! Yosef Hausakluif
I bought one box of power armored GKs a while back and made a full two squads out of them by doing exactly what you are suggesting. The key to using the Tac squad bits and DA vet bitz to do this is making sure you use at least one or two GK bits in every model to keep that 'feel' of a GK trooper. I totally agree, I was planning on doing exactly the same thing. With all the bits in one box to make so many different squad option, it would be financially crazy not to make as many GK as you can from one box and a few bits. Check out the GK forrum for extra ideas.
