Magna grapple and the new shot resolution

Ok so with the way I understand things is each gun/type fully resolves (hit, wound/av pen, save, and any special effect of the weapon) before the next one is resolved.  So with the magna grapple you could pull a vehicle to you then shoot a melta gun that would now be potentially in melta range.  This would now make Blood Angels dreads stronger in anti AV roles. Does that sound about right to everyone?   

I thought for sure that the wording of weapon would disallow this... but it doesn't! biggrin.png

Great find, opens up for even more trickery with this great piece of war gear.

It probably will change in the next codex, though. So enjoy it while it lasts...

This still leaves scattering into difficult/dangerous/impassable terrain. It just that the image of a Land Raider plummeting towards a grot and then disintegrating on the tip of the grot's nose is much more ridiculous than having problems with landing on a wall or in a swamp.

 

Tank shocking fro deep strike sounds interesting. Is it based on current rules?
