-Volsung-
Just wanted some opinion on this matter: How would you guys feel about using (or seeing an opponent use) Heavy Stubbers to represent Heavy Bolters on the heavy weapons team models? Would this be allowed in official games (i.e. would it violate WYSIWYG)? What are the likelyhood of opponents being anal enough to challenge such a modelling decision? Thanks all! Daevyll
If you mention it beforehand and use the same bases, I can't imagine anyone having a problem with it. WarriorFish
On a HWT it should be an easy enough thing to remember, especially if you're not using lots of other counts as. It entirely depends on your opponent though, but given the weapons are quite similar I wouldn't imagine it being a problem often, if at all :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/292490-heaby-stubbers-to-represent-heavy-bolter-weapons-team/#findComment-3719244 Share on other sites
Captain Juan Juarez
I would say it would be totally fine if you don't use Heavy Stubbers in the army as well as no "proper" HBs, so there's no confusion; just a case of saying "oh by the way, all those Stubber models actually represent Heavy Bolters". Raulmichile
WYSIWYG is not mandatory since 6th Ed, although conistency is highly appreciatced by your opponents. That is, if you declare before game starts that HB and HS count all as HB nobody would say anything, moreover HS are not an option for heavy weapons inbthe Codex.
